Background

With over 20 years of development, Six Sigma has emerged as one of the world’s premier management tools. As industries evolve, the demand for skilled Six Sigma professionals in both service and manufacturing sectors continues to rise.

The Six Sigma Institute (SSI) is proud to be the first organization in Hong Kong dedicated to providing comprehensive Six Sigma training, registration, and examination services. Our mission is to recognize and elevate the professional status of Six Sigma practitioners.

Training

At SSI, we offer a wide range of Six Sigma training courses alongside related Quality Management programs, including Lean, Theory of Constraints (TOC), and Continuous Professional Development (C.P.D.). Our goal is to enhance the competitiveness of our candidates. To further integrate Six Sigma methodologies, we combine TOC principles with Lean Six Sigma practices. Additionally, we collaborate closely with universities, colleges, and professional bodies to organize courses and events, and we provide tailored in-house training for various public and private institutions.

Professional Registration (Credentials)

The Six Sigma Institute (SSI) is proud to offer the first professional registration in Hong Kong. Over the past two decades, our credentials have gained widespread recognition among local universities, professional institutions, corporations, and multinational companies. In partnership with the China Association for Quality (CAQ), we introduced a mutual recognition scheme in 2009, providing registered professionals with national and Greater China regional accreditation.

Examination

To maintain high standards and ensure that our students and registered professionals are equipped to meet regional expectations in Greater China, all candidates must pass a rigorous examination to obtain SSI’s professional qualifications. We are also the only approved examination center for Green Belt and Black Belt certifications by the CAQ in Hong Kong.

Community

The Six Sigma Community serves as a dynamic communication platform for SSI professionals across various industries. We host seminars, company visits, and world-class conferences to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among members.

SSI is strategically partnered with SBTI-HK, a leading global provider of Lean Six Sigma solution services. Founded by one of the original Six Sigma inventors, SBTI-HK assists enterprises from diverse industries in successfully implementing Lean Six Sigma management practices.
